Phase-1 showdown: Who is weak and who is strong — DMK, BJP or Congress?
In 60 of the 102 Phase-1 seats that the BJP contested in 2019, the party secured vote shares above 50 per cent in 34 seats. Of the 24 seats that the DMK contested, it had vote shares above 50 per cent in 19 seats. The Congress contested 65 of the 102 seats and its vote share was above 50 per cent in 10 seats.
