IIT Madras conducts India's first blockchain-based elections, plans to scale up
IIT Madras students have broken new ground and bagged a record by conducting India's very first blockchain technology-based election, using in-house developed software for transparent, tamper-proof, vote-from-anywhere student council elections this year. The system has the potential to transform electoral processes nationwide.
