Hindus' share in India's population shrunk 8%, minorities' grew: PM's panel
A study by the PM's economic council (EAC-PM) has found that the majority population's share in India's demography shrank by 7.8% between 1950 and 2015. The majority population's share in the demographies of Pakistan and Bangladesh increased. However, the share of minority groups in India's population mix has gone up.
