Germany eyes Indian students to tide over acute labour shortage
Germany, whose decades of solid growth is being hit due to a shortage in skilled labour, is eyeing Indians studying there to fill the crucial gap. Sixty per cent of Indians in Germany study engineering, which will help the manufacturing giant employ them. This will also help Indians get permanent residency easily after their studies.
