Bharat Bandh Live Updates: Restrictions were placed across the NCR, with Section 144 in Gautam Buddh Nagar in view of Bharat Bandh called by farmers' unions on Friday. The Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), part of SKM, had called for a Bharat Bandh on February 16, citing a host of unmet demands of farmers. The Noida-based Bharatiya Kisan Parishad (BKP) has also extended support to Friday's Bharat Bandh. Late on Thursday, a marathon meeting between three Union ministers and leaders of protesting farmer unions concluded without a resolution with Union Minister Arjun Munda asserting that the discussion was "positive" and another round of talks would be held on Sunday. The farmer leaders said they will continue to stay put at the two border points between Punjab and Haryana.
