Uttarakhand forest fires: Top court takes stern note, asks state for long-term steps
The counsel for Uttarakhand clarified that only 0.1 per cent of forest cover was affected by the fires, while some sections of the media were reporting that 40 per cent of Uttarakhand was burning, which was totally misleading.
